2012 Thai Trip

Please read the information below and if you are interested let me know what dates and airline you think you will be travelling.

I would like to make tentative Hotel bookings sooner rather than later, as this is a popular hotel. (These can easily be altered or cancelled with out penalty)

You do not have to book your airline to make a tentative booking at the hotel. Please make your hotel bookings thru me so we can get late check-outs etc if they are required.

I have checked airfares ass at 07:30 Sunday 19^th February 2012.

Thai Airlines are quoting US$909 on the web but in the past we have paid around US$ 430 so would imagine that fare would drop with promotions but I would not expect to get under the US$400 mark.

Thai Airlines flies from Manila at 13:05 and 20:30 arriving at Bangkok 15:30 and 22:45 respectively.

Return times from Bangkok 07:40 and 15:15 arriving Manila 11:55 and 19:30.

I will check with the Travel agent the fare with Thai as this seems high to me.

Cebu Pacific flies from Clark at 20:40 arriving Bangkok 23:00 hours

Return Departs Bangkok 23:40 arriving Clark 03:55 the following morning.

Cebu Pacific flies Tuesday and Saturday only.

Fare this morning was 13886.54 peso with 15kg check-in and sports equipment both ways. I would expect cheaper promos to be offered before October but when and how much is anyone’s guess.

Seaair/Tiger have flights on most days at present and are quoting this morning a fare of 8424 peso with 15kg check-in and sports equiopment,

Times for this flight on Saturday 13^th & 27^th October are:-

Departing Clark 07:25 arriving Bangkok 09:45

Departing Bangkok 10:10 arriving Clark 14:25.

4 of us have already booked on this flight and one guy took the option of booking 20kg check-in and will only book in his golf clubs, everything else will be carry on. (he got away with this last year with Cebu Pacific but who knows with SeaAir) this reduced his flight around 6,000 peso.

I received this reply from Baybreeze hotel. I think these are the same as last year and represent good value, in my opinion.

These room rates are nett for room only, breakfast not included.
