Day Seven and Eight

Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th

Saturday and Sunday were mostly spent recuperating, shopping and watching the various sporting events which were on TV over the weekend.

A shopping trip to 3rd road was arranged as many golf shoes and other golf equipment were purchased.

A big day for Rod on Sunday with New Zealand defeating Australia in the Rugby World Cup.

Two new arrivals firstly Terry Chapman flew in from Cambodia on Friday, and John Sourke from Singapore on Sunday.

Some of our group namely Dale, Fred, Les and Bruce left on Saturday evening to fly back to the Philippines.

Monday's game will be stroke at Bangphra, No rain since Friday evening so hopefully a fine day for golf.
