| The Balibago Social Golf Club was formed in 1995
by a few expatriates residing in Angeles City, who got together to play
a round of golf.
Over a few beers after the game, it was decided to form
a social golf club.
Over the ensuing years, the BSGC has continued to prosper and now
boasts a membership in excess of 400 registered golfers.
BSGC has adopted Marina Hills Golf and Country Club as their 'Home'
course. This is a 9 hole layout situated approximately 15 minutes drive
north of Angeles City. |
 |
The Club has an official handicapping system based on the rules and
regulations as set down by the R & A Golf Club of St. Andrews and The United
States Golf Assoc. Members handicaps are adjusted after each round. The Club
also has their own scorecards printed.
BSGC has an elected committee, (elections are held yearly), which
organizes a weekly 18 hole competition. (played every Tuesday of the year).

A 'gimme' can best be defined as an agreement
between two golfers...neither of whom can putt very well.
